Project Description:
The Somali DHIS2 Dashboard project aims to digitize the workflows associated with learner and staff enrollment, attendance tracking, and absence management in schools within the Somali Region. This project leverages the District Health Information Software 2 (DHIS2) platform to create a streamlined and efficient system for managing educational data, enhancing communication among stakeholders, and improving student participation and engagement.

Digital Enrollment Templates:
Development of digital templates for both learner and staff enrollment processes, facilitating easy, accurate, and standardized data entry for school administrators. The system supports streaming data use the DHIS2 Platform, combination with Bulk import system use the SharePoint library.
Attendance Tracking:
A robust system for recording and tracking student and staff attendance, allowing for real-time updates and easy access to attendance records.
Automation of absence follow-up processes, ensuring timely communication with parents and the Woreda Education Office when students are absent.
Comprehensive Local Context Understanding:
Detailed mapping of the Somali Region’s local government system for learner and staff enrollment to ensure the dashboard aligns with regional requirements and practices.
Collection and integration of relevant templates and de-identified data files for developing customized digital templates that meet local needs.
