Project Description:

The objective of this project is to create a visually engaging and informative document that highlights the various challenges faced by children in Indonesia under current circumstances and crises. This document aims to inform stakeholders, policy-makers, and the general public about the critical issues affecting children and the efforts needed to address these challenges.

The document will cover various sections including the Indonesia context (covering general population, young children population, children with no birth certificate, expenditure, poverty, and people with disability), education, child mortality, health and nutrition status (including causes and contributing factors of child death and stunting, and efforts by government and stakeholders), child marriage phenomenon and its long-term impact, challenges within the overall child protection system, female genital mutilation (FGM), children’s challenges in accessing continuous and quality education, challenges with poverty and harmful labour, and children’s challenges in facing climate change and disaster impact.
