Project Description:

At Save the Children Indonesia, the aspiration is to be the leading child rights organization. To authentically fulfill this mission, it is essential to generate evidence about what works for children across various contexts within the country. The goal is to foster a learning culture and strategically apply this knowledge in policy, advocacy, and practice.

The year 2020 presented numerous challenges, with COVID-19 affecting all 34 provinces of Indonesia. The pandemic severely disrupted program delivery and caused significant upheaval in personal lives. However, it also provided an unprecedented opportunity to learn, adapt, fail fast, and experiment with new ways of working.

As part of the Programme Impact and Policy (PIP) department, there was a recognized need to take stock of the past year and reflect both independently and collectively. The team often lacked the time and space to document experiences and insights. Therefore, at the end of December 2020, an end-of-year reflection session was scheduled. This session was agenda-free, devoid of PowerPoint presentations, and dedicated entirely to processing the past year and writing personal reflections.

The outcome of this reflection session is encapsulated in the PIP SELF-REFLECTION report. This report documents the experiences and learnings of the PIP department of Save the Children Indonesia. The insights and reflections captured in this report aim to be valuable for future endeavors and guide others in similar situations.

The PIP SELF-REFLECTION report requires a compelling and thoughtful graphic design to effectively communicate the reflections and learnings of the PIP department. The design should embody the spirit of introspection and growth, capturing the essence of the challenges and adaptations faced during 2020.
